Preshrinking and Garment Cleaning

I recently came across a couple of informative blog posts about preshrinking fabric and garment care.

The first is by Pamela who describes a wonderful method for preshrinking wool fabrics before cutting and sewing. I've always used the steam iron method for wools, which gets to be really tedious after about yard 2 of the fabric, so her method is definitely a winner.

The second is by Claire who shares a wealth of information about garment care and ways to clean and care for garments without damaging them.
