Directives from House Stagers Mean No Sewing

Times have been hectic in our household, as we bought a house and are now in the process of selling our current home. It's exciting, exhausting, scary and fun at the same time -- what a mix of emotions!

We spent days de-cluttering the house so the stagers could take over our home. It is clean. It is sterile. And we have been charged to keep it this way until a sale is made.

My sewing room is very "arranged" but not really inspiring these days. There are no random threads or fabric scraps to be found. But, one fun thing happened -- the photographer who shot our house took photos of Simon as well. She was generous enough to send us a photo with different poses of him added to the room, thanks to photoshop. Simon has been cloned -- at least digitally!

Can't wait to move!

Oh, that is so cute! Congrats on the new house and I hope it all goes smoothly!

That's cute - the photographer must be a cat lover.

Good luck on the sewing withdrawal. Hope you sell soon!

I think a dress form clothed in one of your wonderful sewn garments should have been included in the sewing room staging. I hope you have a marvelous sewing room planned for your new home. Cute photo technique. I couldn't help thinking your kitty is so active. That is what makes the shot so interesting. My kitty would be in various sleeping poses, but then she is a grand dame in cat years.
